Have Tank Watch recommendations at your fingertips by adding us to your home screen
By adding the website to your home screen, an icon will appear similar to other apps on your phone. Simply tap the icon to quickly launch forthefishes.org/tankwatch and search up-to-date recommendations — even when offline.
Tank Watch app, built separately for Android and iOS, is no longer supported. We recommend deleting the app from your phone and adding forthefishes.org/tankwatch to your home screen.
How to add to your home screen
Android
- Launch Chrome for Android and open forthefishes.org/tankwatch.
- Tap the browser’s menu button (3 vertical dots) at the top right part of the screen. Select Add to Home screen or Install app.
- You can edit the name of the shortcut, if you’d like, then tap Add. Chrome will add the icon to your home screen. You can now drag the icon around and place it where you prefer — just like a normal app icon.
- To access Tank Watch recommendations, simply tap the icon.
iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch
- Launch the Safari browser on Apple’s iOS and navigate to forthefishes.org/tankwatch.
- Tap the share button (the square with an upwards pointing arrow) at the bottom of the screen and choose Add to home screen.
- You can edit the name of the shortcut before tapping the add button. The icon has been added to your home screen. You can now drag the icon around and place it where you prefer — just like a normal app icon.
- To access Tank Watch recommendations, simply tap the icon.
