This Policy applies to all information provided by you or otherwise collected from you by For the Fishes through our mobile application, Tank Watch. For the Fishes is committed to respecting the privacy rights of our Tank Watch users and we have very restricted rules for how your information is handled, used and shared.

Information Collection Practices

We collect personal and anonymous information from Tank Watch users and may use this information to create aggregate information. We will not share your information except as described in “Information Sharing” below. We collect these types of information:

• Use, Viewing and Technical Information. Tank Watch may gather anonymous data that does not personally identify you. This “traffic data” may include which pages you visit, how you are accessing Tank Watch, and how long you use Tank Watch. This anonymous information is used for marketing purposes, is shared with business partners and is analyzed to help us improve Tank Watch for our users.
• Personal Information. In order for you to use certain Tank Watch functions, we require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you. This personal information includes the following:
  • Your name and e-mail address, which you may provide when you use the Tank Watch Feedback function or take the pledge. We may use this information to contact you regarding your use of Tank Watch or to send you information about For the Fishes, to solicit donations, or invite you to join our mailing list.
  • Other data which you provide by using the Tank Watch Feedback function,taking the pledge, by completing surveys or contest entries through Tank Watch.
• Feedback. We welcome your feedback and have provided an opportunity in Tank Watch for you to report problems, offer comments, make suggestions, or request information. We may use your information to respond to your inquiries.
• Surveys. If you choose to participate in the Tank Watch survey, any information you provide may be shared with others but only on an anonymous and aggregated basis.

Information Sharing

We will not share information we collect from you except as follows:

• Third Party Service Providers. We utilize outside businesses to provide Tank Watch tech support and to conduct surveys. Those businesses include, but are not limited to Aysling Digital Media Solutions, and Survey Monkey. Your personal information that you provide or information that is collected (such as your public IP address) may be shared with those businesses so that they can provide tech support and survey services. Those businesses will only use your personal information to provide specific Tank Watch related services to For the Fishes. If you do not want us to share your information with our third-party service providers, please e-mail us at info@forthefishes.org.

Websites and Other Areas Outside Our Control

This privacy policy applies only to Tank Watch. Any websites, applications or platforms that you may be able to access through Tank Watch may have data collection and use practices and policies that substantially differ from this Policy. It is your responsibility to review third-party policies. For the Fishes is not responsible for the privacy policies, if any, of other services.
