Young with 2-3 white bars; adults with one white to pale blue bar. Bodies from deep orange to bright red with maturing females darkening to black. Captive-bred clownfish can survive without a host anemone but do require a small structure for a sense of security. With proper care these fish can live for 20 – 30 years.
